As a leader, Ana was expected to provide guidance, training and support to the junior graphic designers. She assisted the junior designers with choosing the design direction, selecting complementary graphics, strategic hierarchy and overall layout for design tasks. All creatives were to be reviewed and approved by Ana before being submitted to our customers. She also provided fun and engaging design challenges to the designers so that they could sharpen their design skills, or learn something completely new. Ana was particularly good at this, the designers were always impressed with what they were able to achieve.

When words translate into feelings, I am sold! I would scroll down and read other resumes, but I would scroll back up to hers again. It kept on drawing me back and therefore, I knew to trust my gut feeling. — Ana is true to her word. She projected the time it would take to design what we needed, and she delivered right on schedule. She is a remarkable time-manager, better than I will ever be. Furthermore, she explained the stages and strategy she would use for the project and that alone, had me totally seduced. I cannot draw a straight line using a ruler so, when Ana discussed what she would do and how she would do it, I was in awe. The book cover image is simply “picture-perfect” and “flawless!” It conveys precisely what the novel is about and THAT’S what you want in a book-cover-designer. Her imagination coupled with creativity, inspiration, dedication and commitment have spawned the final product, with time to spare. We were impressed, to say the least.
